Building Code, Compliance, and IICRC awareness

At ReconSmart, we incorporate code related considerations into our estimating and process support by working closely with clients to help ensure scopes reflect items commonly required for compliant restoration projects. We assist in identifying areas where safety requirements, construction standards, or jurisdictional considerations may impact the scope of work, allowing estimates to more accurately represent what is needed to rebuild correctly. While we do not publish, interpret, or enforce local codes, our guidance supports clear, well documented scopes aligned with professional expectations and real world restoration and construction requirements.

IICRC standards provide widely recognized guidance for restoration methodology, documentation, and project execution. We maintain practical awareness of how these standards influence scoping decisions, estimating logic, and carrier review expectations, helping ensure restoration work aligns with accepted practices while remaining grounded in real world conditions.
